Volunteering Opportunity:
Join us for our first ever “Knit and Natter” – if you are a knitter or a crochet enthusiast please join us and make squares which can be joined together to make scarves or blankets.  We will provide the wool (double ply) you should bring your own knitting needles or crochet hook.  Please bring someone who loves to knit/crochet – or someone who wants to learn how to knit/crochet, everyone is welcome.

In an effort to decrease the continual loss of birds, VulPro rehabilitates injured vultures with the goal always being to release every able-bodied individual to the wild. Volunteers may be asked to do a number of different tasks, depending on what is required on the day

Volunteering Opportunity
Join the “Buy a bed campaign. Most homeless people know that they have to pay shelter fees per night. Sometimes homeless people use that as an excuse not to come to the shelter. With the Buy a bed campaign we encourage the community to cover their shelter fees for the first 5 nights and help us to be a sustainable organisation. The campaign is especially for a homeless person with no income.
One homeless person can sleep in a bed for 4 nights for R60.

Earn Community Hours:
1 Community Hour for every 4 night “buy a bed” voucher + 1 dignity bag including a bar of soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, body lotion
