Food Scarcity is real

Seeing hunger etched on the faces of people living rough is an awful reality of COVID times during which people have lost jobs and are struggling to feed their families. Aa’liyah and her family got together to make a delicious meal and feed as many people as they could on Saturday 17 April. They prepared food and delivered meals to people on the sides of the road in their area, and made an incredible difference by doing so. Thank you Aa’liyah for being an active citizen and making a difference in this kind and wonderful way. #Volunteeringinaction

Community Hours © 2024. All rights reserved.

Donations of CASH are very important and offer a lifeline to so many organizations. Unfortunately, we are not able to verify Volunteering Hours for cash donations – HOWEVER, should you choose to make a donation of cash – we encourage you to log your donation as a GOODWILL donation, and in this way, your contribution will be tracked and acknowledged on your profile , and will reflect on your reports and you will be able to draw a certificate in support of your community impact. BUT no hours will be allocated to any cash donations.
Should you make a donation – please be so kind as to email a copy of your EFT to events@communityhours.co.za, showing the charity you have chosen to support, after you have logged your activity. In this way we can verify your donation and thank you for being such an active and mindful citizen.
