Add External Logged Hours

External volunteering hours include volunteering you did which was not arranged by your school/ university or company.
External hours might include: volunteering at the SPCA, participating at volunteering events organised by Community Hours or making a cake for a senior citizen as examples

All donations of items including sports equipment, books, clothing and stationery are considered as Passive Volunteering Hours

If this is a donation, please use the above text block to let us know the amount of items you donated!
A maximum of 6 hours of volunteering may be logged on one day
Volunteering hours can only be captured within 3 months of the volunteering date

Donations of CASH are very important and offer a lifeline to so many organizations. Unfortunately, we are not able to verify Volunteering Hours for cash donations – HOWEVER, should you choose to make a donation of cash – we encourage you to log your donation as a GOODWILL donation, and in this way, your contribution will be tracked and acknowledged on your profile , and will reflect on your reports and you will be able to draw a certificate in support of your community impact. BUT no hours will be allocated to any cash donations.
Should you make a donation – please be so kind as to email a copy of your EFT to events@communityhours.co.za, showing the charity you have chosen to support, after you have logged your activity. In this way we can verify your donation and thank you for being such an active and mindful citizen.
